Google is introducing a new AI voice typing feature named Rambler in its keyboard ‘Google Board’.
Google announced several major changes at the ‘Android Show 2026’ held this week. The company now wants to transform Android into an AI based personal assistant platform. The new updates will bring new features like Gemini AI, automation in Google Chrome and AI keyboard.
Along with this, after Chromebook laptop, now the company will also introduce a new Google Book. According to the company, Android 17 will be rolled out by June 2026, but other AI features will arrive at different times throughout the year.

Google is working on these fronts
Fraud – will automatically identify the fake call and disconnect it
Scammers often call impersonating bank employees and cheat people by asking for OTP or account details. Now Android’s new ‘Verified Financial Call’ feature is coming. If the phone has the official app of the bank and a fake call is received, the system will automatically check whether the bank is really calling or not. If the call is not made from the bank, your phone will disconnect the call with the help of AI.
New feature will reduce the addiction of scrolling-reels
If you are addicted to reels, then ‘Pause Point’ feature is also coming. Distracting apps can be selected in this. These apps will not open immediately, there will be a ‘pause’ of 10 seconds. In these 10 seconds, the user will be able to set a time limit for using that app, for example, he will be able to choose the option to run it only for 5 minutes.
GoogleBook- will bring a new laptop with Android
Google is now working on a new category called GoogleBook after Chromebook. This will be an Android based laptop, it will definitely provide Windows like interface, but Android apps will run in window mode. It will have features like Gemini AI, multicolored LED strip, lightweight design… and long battery life.
AI – Gemini will become personal assistant
Gemini will be able to do many of your tasks on the phone itself. If you want to order food, it will be able to find restaurants as per your preference, location and budget, select the food and help you complete the order process. However, for security, the final step of payment will have to be completed by the user himself.
Typing – Now it will be easier to type by speaking
