Tech company Motorola has launched its most premium foldable smartphone Motorola Razr Fold in India. Its biggest feature is its 8.1-inch foldable display and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.
The phone comes with three rear cameras of 50 megapixels. Motorola has launched this Razr Fold with two storage variants and a special edition. Its price starts from ₹1.50 lakh.

The launch offer will include an instant bank discount or exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. There is also an option of no-cost EMI up to 18 months. Those purchasing the phone till June 20 will get the facility of ‘Free One-Time Screen Replacement’ for 1 year. Pre-orders of the phone have started.
Design and build quality: Quite slim even when folded
The design of Motorola Razr Fold is quite premium and sleek. When open, its thickness remains only 4.55mm, due to which it feels very light to hold.
- Material and Feel: High-grade aluminum and glass have been used in making the phone. Its weight is 243 grams. Premium texture has been given on the back panel which gives good grip in the hands.
- Display Layout: Thin bezels are provided with the cover display on the front. It becomes quite compact when folded.
- Buttons and Ports: It has Type-C charging port, SIM tray and speaker grill at the bottom. The fingerprint sensor is provided in the power button itself.
- IP RATING: It has got IP48 and IP49 rating for protection against water and dust.

- Main Display: 8.1-inch LTPO Extreme AMOLED panel, 2K resolution (2484 x 2232 pixels). It has 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6200 nits.
- Cover Display: There is a 6.6-inch screen that supports 165Hz refresh rate and 6000 nits brightness. Dolby Vision is supported on both displays.

- Rear Camera: 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 periscope telephoto lens (for better zoom). It supports 8K video recording.
- Selfie Camera: There is a 20MP camera on the outside when folded and a 32MP camera on the inside when opened.

- Processor: It has the world’s fastest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which is based on 3nm technology.
- Software: The phone runs on Android 16 and the company has promised 7 years of OS updates with it.
- AI Features: It has been provided with Moto AI tools like Catch Me Up, Recall and Image Studio. In-built support of Google Gemini is also available.
4. PowerBackup: 6000mAh large battery
- Battery: Despite being a foldable phone, it has a large 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery.
- Charging: It supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The company claims that once charged it can provide a backup of more than 43 hours.
