Between Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Ciara Miller, West Wilson, and the rest of the friend group, there was simply too much off-screen fallout for even a three-part reunion to cover. Now, Bravo is serving up even more answers (and fresh bombshells) in a surprise bonus episode.
West Wilson confesses he has loved Amanda ‘for a very long time’ in bonus episode
A preview for Summer House: The Aftermath, set to air on June 16, 2026, features a candid sit-down between West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke. During the emotional conversation, West dropped a bombshell that has already sparked speculation about when his feelings for Amanda truly began. In a moment from the three-hour sitdown’s preview that has already gotten fans reeling, Kyle directly asks West whether he really loved Amanda. The latter did not hold back. The sports journalist warned about whether Kyle was ready for the ‘possibly hurtful’ truth before admitting:
“Do you want full honesty even though it could be possibly hurtful today? I do love her and have for a very, very long time.”
The confession caught the Loverboy founder visibly off guard, and fans can already foresee a reignited debate regarding the truth about West and Amanda’s relationship timeline. Considering their storyline has been one of the biggest storylines of this season, the upcoming bonus episode now promises even more drama.
West Wilson’s confession raises fresh speculations about Amanda Batula’s romance timeline
Amanda and West officially confirmed their relationship in March 2026 after months of rumors surrounding their growing romance. Throughout the season, the pair’s growing closeness had become a talking point, which escalated after Amanda’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke’s infidelity rumors surfaced. However, throughout the reunion, both repeatedly insisted that their romantic connection only developed after Amanda and Kyle announced their separation in January 2026.
The couple also denied having an affair, a crush, or any inappropriate relationship while filming Summer House in 2025. However, cast members continued to challenge parts of their timeline. West’s alleged ex, Ciara Miller, revealed that she spotted Amanda and West together just days before Amanda and Kyle publicly announced their split. Other castmates also pointed to moments from the season that suggested the pair had grown unusually close long before they went public.
Did West and Amanda hook up in 2025?
Previously, West maintained that his feelings evolved only after spending more time with Amanda in early 2026. With his recent admission, however, it may now add a fresh new layer to the heated debate about their romance timeline. Some members suggested that West and Amanda seemed unusually close while filming in 2025. Notably, West allegedly had been dating his ex, Meija Moreno, during the season’s filming.
During the reunion, Ciara Miller revealed that she spotted Amanda and West spending time together on January 17, 2026, just two days before Amanda and Kyle publicly announced their separation. However, both firmly denied having an affair, crush, or any physical relationship while Amanda was still married. West explained that their feelings developed after they began spending more time together in February and March 2026 through mutual friends. He said:
“I think seeing her happy and, like, having fun, like, kind of the Amanda that I didn’t see prior, I took it kind of personal, I guess, because I was bringing her around my friends, and we were out and about. And, like, that was special to me. Like, I know it sounds, like, so black and white, but it was a treat for me to see Amanda, like, incredibly happy. And we started spending more time together.”
Despite growing skepticism from castmates and viewers, Amanda and West have continued to deny any overlap between their romance and Amanda’s marriage to Kyle. When host Andy Cohen directly asked whether there had been any romantic or physical involvement between them last summer, both Amanda and West firmly denied it.
