Salman Khan previously schooled Pranit More for his below-the-belt jokes
Amid the Rs. 370 biryani controversy, an old video from Bigg Boss 19 has resurfaced online. In the 2025 video, Salman Khan can be seen schooling Pranit More for his jokes. The video is from shortly after More entered Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19, when several clips from his stand-up sets went viral on social media. During one of his routine sets, More took a dig at Khan’s personal and professional life, including jokes about the actor’s Panvel farmhouse, his legal controversies and his career. One joke that immediately caught everyone’s attention was about Salman’s farmhouse and the women visiting the property.

Pranit More drew intense criticism after making a joke at a woman in the audience. For the uninitiated, More took a dig at a woman wearing a ring resembling Salman Khan’s famous turquoise bracelet. Reacting to it, he jokingly asked if she had been to the actor’s farmhouse. The issue reached Bigg Boss during the season’s first Weekend Ka Vaar, and Salman didn’t hold back from addressing the material. Khan made sure More was aware of his dismay at the content and said the comedian had crossed a line.

Salman Khan called out More and confirmed he knew everything the comedian had said about him before entering the show. Khan even acknowledged that, while he understands that More is there to make people laugh, the way he does it is not right. In the video, Khan was heard saying:
“Mujhe pata hai ki aapne mujhpe kya kya bola hai joki sahi nahi hai. Uss waqt aapko logon ko hasana tha, mera naam use karke, aapne voh kiya. I just don’t think you should go beneath the belt.”
