Apple Launches New MacBook Air With M5 Chip, Up to 15.3 Inch Display in India

American devices maker Apple on Tuesday launched the new MacBook Air in India and other international markets. The company’s M5 chipset has been given in this laptop. It has display size options of 13.6 inches and 15.3 inches. This laptop has a 12 megapixel center stage camera. It has support for Apple Intelligence features.

Price of new MacBook Air

The price of the 13.6 inch screen model of this laptop is Rs 1,19,900 and the 15.6 inch variant is priced at Rs 1,44,900. New MacBook Air Will be made available in Sky Blue, Silver, Midnight and Starlight colors. Pre-orders for this laptop can be placed in many countries including India and America from March 4. Its sale will start from March 11.

Specifications of the new MacBook Air

This laptop has M5 chip. This chip is with 10-core CPU. Apple It claims that the new MacBook Air provides up to four times faster performance for tasks related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) compared to the MacBook Air with M4 chipset. It has a third-generation ray-tracing engine for a better gaming experience. The company has said that web browsing in the new MacBook Air is up to 50 percent faster than laptops with Intel Core Ultra X7 processor. This laptop has up to 512 GB of storage as standard.

The new MacBook Air has 13.6-inch and 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display options. Its display comes with a peak brightness level of 500 nits and support for 1 billion colors. This laptop has a 12-megapixel center stage camera with support for desk view. It has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and two Thunderbolt 4 ports for connectivity. It has Apple’s N1 wireless networking chip. The company has said that the battery of this laptop can last for 18 hours on a single charge. The new MacBook Air comes with macOS Tahoe. It has support for Apple Intelligence features. This laptop has a three-mic array and a speaker unit with support for Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos.
