iQOO has launched its new flagship smartphone iQOO 15 Ultra in China. This phone has been specially introduced keeping in mind the gaming and high performance users. iQOO 15 Ultra has a 6.85-inch 2K resolution 144Hz LTPO OLED display, which supports high brightness and fast touch response. The phone is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and has a large 7400mAh battery, which supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. Talking about the camera, it has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
iQOO 15 Ultra has been launched in China in multiple storage options. The price of 16GB RAM and 256GB storage variant has been kept at 5,699 Yuan (approximately Rs 74,300). The 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at 5,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 78,200). Whereas the 16GB + 1TB variant comes for 6,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 91,200). The top variant of the phone with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage has been launched for 7,699 Yuan (approximately Rs 1,00,400). This smartphone is up for pre-order in China Available And its sale will start from February 10. The color options of the phone come with unique names, which include 2077 (Black) and 2049 (Silver).
According to iQOO, the display of this phone is based on Samsung M14 luminous material and it has 3200Hz instant touch sampling rate with 2160Hz high-frequency dimming. The brightness goes up to 2600 nits in HBM mode and 8000 nits at peak level. The company claims that Eye Protection 2.0 feature has been provided in it, which will have less impact on the eyes during long gaming and screen use.
Talking about performance, iQOO 15 Ultra has Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which has been optimized in collaboration with Qualcomm. According to the company, the phone has achieved a score of more than 4.51 million on AnTuTu 11. It is provided with Q3 gaming chip, which supports 144fps gaming at 2K resolution. The phone has the option of up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
Active cooling system is also provided in the phone for gaming. It includes Ice Dome cooling fan, large 8000mm² VC cooling plate and dual layer graphite sheet. iQOO says this system helps keep the phone cool during long gaming sessions. Apart from this, features like gaming shoulder button, high-sensitive gyroscope and fast touch response have been provided in the phone.
Talking about camera setup, iQOO 15 Ultra has a 50-megapixel Sony primary camera with OIS support. It comes with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel Sony periscope telephoto camera. The phone has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. It includes AI based camera features and cinematic image processing support.
The iQOO 15 Ultra is powered by a 7400mAh single-cell battery that supports 100W fast charging and 40W wireless charging. It also works with PPS and PD charging standards. For audio, the phone has dual speakers, which support Dolby Atmos. Apart from this, advanced vibration motor and customizable notification lighting feature is also available in the phone.
iQOO 15 Ultra has an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor. The smartphone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1 port. Apart from this, multi-band GPS support has been provided in the phone, which includes systems like Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. The size of the phone is said to be 163.65×76.80×8.7mm and its weight is said to be around 227 grams.
