iQOO 15R Will Get 50 Megapixel Sony LYT Camera, To Launch This Month in India, Vivo, Samsung, OnePlus

The new smartphone of Chinese smartphone maker iQOO will be launched in India this month. The company has given information about some specifications of iQOO 15R. It will be included in the iQOO 15 series. This smartphone will be provided with a 7,600 mAh battery. The rear camera unit of this smartphone will have a 50-megapixel camera.

Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO’s unit in the country, took to social media platform Post Users have been asked to find the hidden features of this smartphone. The square-shaped camera island of the iQOO 15R has a line of text confirming that the smartphone will have a 50-megapixel Sony LYT camera. The company has also teased that the upcoming smartphone will have Origin Island. It is similar to the Dynamic Island present in the iPhone of American devices maker Apple. In this, users will get notifications and some controls.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 will be used as the processor in iQOO 15R. It has got a score of more than 35 lakh points in AnTuTu benchmark testing. The upcoming smartphone will have a 7,600 mAh battery. The company claims that this is the slimmest smartphone with this battery capacity in the country. The thickness of iQOO 15R will be 7.9 mm. Its design has been made to feel light in the hand despite the large battery. iQOO 15R will be launched on February 24. The price of this smartphone can be less than Rs 55,000.

Launched in India in November last year, the base model of this smartphone series features a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 6,000 nits peak brightness level. The iQOO 15’s 7,000 mAh battery supports 100 W wired and 40 W wireless charging. The rear camera unit of this smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto periscope telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
