The company has said that when the feature is expanded, users will be able to directly share photos, videos and files with nearby iPhones, iPads and MacBooks using Quick Share. How the feature works
- Sharing files from Android to iPhone works the same way as AirDrop between two iOS devices.
- For file sharing, you will have to use the Everyone for 10 minutes feature of AirDrop.
- After activation, the Apple device will appear in Quick Share of the Android device.
- You have to confirm by tapping on the device to connect it.
- Once connected, even the largest files will be shared between Quick Share and Airdrop within a few moments.
