Google to roll out AirDrop style Quick Share feature to all Android phones

How the feature works

• Sharing files from Android to iPhone works the same way as AirDrop between two iOS devices.
• For file sharing, you will have to use the Everyone for 10 minutes feature of AirDrop.
• After activation, the Apple device will appear in Quick Share of the Android device.
• You have to confirm by tapping on the device to connect it.
• Once connected, even the largest files will be shared between Quick Share and Airdrop within a few moments.
