Tecno has launched its new Pova Curve 2 5G smartphone in India. According to the company, this is the latest model of the Curve series, which has a 6.78 inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display. The phone has 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness up to 4500 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It runs on MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, which has 8GB RAM with support for 8GB virtual RAM. The device has a 50MP primary camera and 8000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
Talking about the price, the price of 8GB + 128GB variant of Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G has been kept at Rs 27,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model will come at Rs 29,999. This phone will be available in Mystic Purple, Storm Titanium and Melting Silver color options. The sale will start from February 20 on Flipkart and offline retail stores, while pre booking Open from 13th February. Under the launch offer, instant cashback of Rs 1,500 is being given on all banks and cashback of up to Rs 3,000 on no cost EMI of 3 or 6 months.
Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G MediaTek Dimensity 7100 6nm octa core processor is available, whose clock speed goes up to 2.4GHz. It has Mali G610 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and the option of 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The phone comes with HiOS 16 based on Android 16, which features ELLA AI 2.0 and has multilingual support including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati and Marathi.
The phone has a 6.78-inch (2644 × 1208 pixels) 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display. The panel comes equipped with 120Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits peak brightness and 2304Hz PWM dimming support. The screen gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Talking about camera setup, a 50MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture is provided in the rear, along with which a 2MP macro sensor is available. The phone supports 2K 30fps video recording. There is a 13MP selfie camera on the front. According to the company, it has been provided with the segment’s first all-scenario AI noise reduction feature, which claims to provide clear voice during calls, video meetings or gaming.
The phone has G1 signal enhancement chip and SE1 WiFi enhancement chip. The company claims that this improves mobile signal by 33 to 100 percent and WiFi strength by 60 percent. The device has an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP64 dust and splash resistance, Dolby Atmos support and USB Type C audio. With 7.42mm thin design and 195 grams weight, it has an 8000mAh battery and it supports 45W charging.
