IPL 2026 prize money: How much will RCB get for winning second title?

Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Gujarat Titans by five wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday to become only the third team to defend its IPL title.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India had announced a total prize for Rs. 46 crore for the tournament.

The winner will take the biggest chunk of this pool at Rs. 20 crores. The runner-up will be getting Rs. 12.50 crores.

There is also a share for the teams that reached the Playoffs. Rajasthan Royals, which lost the second qualifier to GT by seven wickets, will earn Rs. 7 crore for finishing third. Sunrisers Hyderabad, knocked out in the eliminator, will take home Rs. 6.50 crores.
