
A new collab between Chuck E. Cheese and
tabletop game maker Asmodee brings a popular family card game to life at its fun centers this summer
Asmodee’s “Spot It!” game, (known internationally as
“Dobble”) has teamed up with the fun center brand on an “immersive summer experience designed to get kids moving, thinking, and playing together in entirely new ways.”
The game will roll out in multiple executions this summer at over 500 Chuck E Cheese locations across the U.S. and Canada. Selling more then 12 million copies since its launch in 2009, Spot it! is
a fast-paced pattern recognition card game where players compete to find the single matching symbol between two circular cards.
Chuck E. Cheese will integrate the game though fun center
gameplay, interactive dance floor activations, digital content, social engagement and exclusive family activities.

The “Spot It!” integrations will show up in store June through August with
co-branded gameplay segments airing on more than 3,000 in-venue screens across the CEC Media Network. In June and August a “Spot It!”-themed interactive dance floor will bring the game to life on Fun
Center floors, while an accompanying activity sheet allows kids to take the “Spot It! Challenge” home, earning bonus e-tickets when they bring the completed sheet back to the store.
An online version of the game will also be available through Chuck E Cheese socials this summer.
A co-branded national sweepstakes will take place in September, which consumers can enter
for a chance to win prizes from both Chuck E Cheese and Asmodee. Also in September, customers can test out “Spot It!” with in-location game sampling at select Chuck E. Cheese Fun Centers while
supplies last.
