Google Gemini has now introduced a new ‘Digital Avatar’ feature, which allows users to create a digital clone of themselves. This clone can play the lead character in any video produced by Gemini. This new feature is based on Google’s ‘Gemini Omni’ model. This new feature can be helpful for content creators, because they will be able to create new videos with it. It is available to all Gemini Pro users globally. Know the complete process of making it. Tutorial – Process to create a digital avatar in Gemini Open gemini.google.com website and click on the ‘+’ (Plus) button given below. – Move cursor to ‘More Uploads’ available there and click on ‘Avatar’. – After this a QR will appear on the screen, which has to be scanned with the mobile phone. As soon as the scan is done, a page for recording the face will open on the mobile. Here users are asked to speak some selected numbers and show the face from different angles, so that the system can create an accurate digital model of the face. – After the process is completed, this avatar is saved in the name of the user’s Gmail username. Usage – Users can create their digital clone in this way. After the digital avatar is ready, to use it, go to the prompt box of Gemini and write your username with ‘@’. – If a user’s email ID is aryan@gmail.com, then his username will be @aryan. To make a video, you have to give a prompt in English and add your username in it. Like- Make a video of @aryan roaming on the streets of London. – Gemini only supports single human characters, meaning only one avatar can be used in a video at a time. This is how you will get free access with the help of offers. This feature is not completely free. It is available only to Google’s ‘AI Pro’ or ‘Ultra’ tier customers, whose monthly fee in India is around Rs 1,950. However, free access can be available with the help of telecom operators in India.
