Motorola has launched its new smartphone Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in India. This is a new model of the company’s Edge series, which has been introduced with features like quad curved AMOLED display and fast charging. According to the company, the phone has a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon series processor and 50-megapixel primary rear camera. Along with this, Android 16 based Hello UI and 7000mAh battery is also available.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Price in India starts from Rs 26,999. The phone is available in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants. The price of mid and top variants has been kept at Rs 29,999 and Rs 32,999 respectively. The phone has been introduced in leather-inspired Pantone Silhouette, Pantone Blue Surf and Pantone Country Air color options. According to the company, its early bird sale will be held on March 6 at 12 noon and 4 pm. After this, the open sale will start on March 12 at 12 noon. The sale will be on Flipkart. As part of the launch offer, there will be a flat Rs 2,000 off through HDFC and Axis Bank credit cards or customers can avail an exchange bonus of Rs 2,000.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has a 6.78 inch 1.5K quad curved AMOLED display, which supports 144Hz refresh rate. The screen supports SGS Eye Protection, Smart Water Touch 3.0 and HDR 10+. The peak brightness of the panel can reach 5200 nits and it comes equipped with MIL-810H military grade Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset is available in the phone, with which vapor cooling chamber has been added. Motorola says that the phone can run BGMI at 120 fps. The phone runs on Android 16 based Hello UI. The company has promised OS upgrades for 3 years and security upgrades for 5 years. Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini have been integrated into the phone along with Moto AI.
Talking about the camera, Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has a 50-megapixel Sony-LYT 710 primary sensor, which comes with OIS support. A 13MP ultrawide angle lens, a macro and a depth sensor have been added to it. The phone has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. All sensors are capable of 4K recording.
Edge 70 Fusion has a 7000mAh battery, which is made of silicon-carbon technology. The phone supports 68W fast charging and a charger is said to be provided in the box. For connectivity, it has features like 5G, Wi Fi, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC and USB Type C port. Apart from this, display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers are also provided in the phone. The thickness of the phone is 7.99 mm and weight is 193 grams.
