- Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack Launched In India | 237kmph Speed, 61.50 Lakh Price

Luxury car maker Mini has launched its new ‘Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack’ in India. The company claims that the car can reach speed of 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 61.50 lakh.
The car will be imported and sold as a Complete Built Unit (CBU). Only its limited units will come to India. In this new pack, only cosmetic changes will be seen compared to the standard model, there is no change mechanically.
Booking of the car has been started and now its delivery has also started. This is a special option for those who like sporty look with open-top driving. This is the second Mini car in the Indian market which has been launched with the John Cooper Works (JCW) pack.
Exterior: 17-inch alloy wheels in two new colors
After getting the JCW pack, the look of this convertible car has become quite aggressive. The car has been given two exclusive paint shades – ‘Midnight Black’ and ‘Legend Grey’. Stripes on the bonnet are also available in Legend Gray colour.
Gloss-black finish has been given on the car’s front grille, ORVMs, door handles, wheel arches and bumpers. It gets new 17-inch JCW black alloy wheels and jet black fabric roof.
Interior and Features: Sporty seats and high-tech cabin
The cabin of the car has also been kept completely black to give it a sporty look. It has JCW branded sports seats and a special steering wheel. Red stripes are provided on the dashboard and headrests which create a contrast with the black interior.
Talking about the features, it has a 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen infotainment system and Harman Kardon audio system. Apart from this, head-up display (HUD), wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is available.
As smart features, this car has the facility of Mini Connected-Car Suite, Head-up Display, Wireless Charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Performance: 2.0-litre turbo engine and 237kmph top speed
Mechanically, it is identical to the standard Cooper S. It has a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine which generates 204hp power and 300Nm torque.
Speed: This car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds.
Top Speed: Its maximum speed is 237 km/h.
Mileage: The company claims that this car gives a mileage of 16.82kmpl.
Safety Features: ABS with EBD and stability control
It has been provided with JCW branded sport brakes, which provide better control at high speed. Apart from this, features like multiple airbags, ABS with EBD and stability control are available as standard.
