Ather Energy Offering Discount Of Up To Rs 20,000 on Rizta S, 450S Electric Scooters

Ather Energy, which has a major share in the market of electric two-wheelers, has offered discounts on its two electric scooters. A discount of up to Rs 20,000 can be available on the company’s Rizta S and 450S. This offer will be available at Ather Experience Centers till 31st March.

This includes a cash discount of Rs 6,500, credit card discount of Rs 10,000 and extended components warranty worth Rs 3,500. With this discount, the price of Rizta S will start from Rs 1,04,758 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The company’s 450S can be purchased after discount for Rs 1,13,100 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The Central Government’s PM E-Drive subsidy scheme is about to expire and due to this the number of people buying electric two-wheelers may increase.

The share of family scooter Rizta in the sales of Ather Energy has increased rapidly. Rizta’s share in the company’s total sales has increased to more than 50 percent. Recently, Ather Energy had said that Rizta has witnessed a fast pace of sales since its inception and this has also helped the company in expanding its presence. In December last year, total sales of Rizta had crossed two lakh units. Ather 450S has a 2.9 kWh battery. The IDC certified range of this electric scooter is 115 km. The company’s 450S can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 3.9 seconds. Its top speed is 90 kmph.

Last year, Ather Energy had achieved the milestone of manufacturing five lakh electric two-wheelers. The company has expanded its presence in North and Central India. Ather Energy has two manufacturing plants in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. To meet the increasing demand for electric scooters, the company is setting up a third factory in Bidkin, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Maharashtra.
