BSNL is not considered for Privatization by Governemnt, More than 9 Crore Subscribers, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio

Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will not be privatized. The Central Government has given this information in the Parliament. Recently BSNL launched its 4G network. Indigenous technology has been used for this. The company also plans to launch 5G network.

Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia told in the Lok Sabha that BSNL There is no plan to privatize it. He said, “BSNL is connected with the people of India and it is for the people of the country.” He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is focusing on strengthening this government telecom company and increasing its telecom capabilities. On BSNL’s 4G network, Scindia said that the company has two options – buy telecom equipment from foreign companies or develop capabilities in the country.

He said, “The Prime Minister took a big decision and said that we will not just provide services. We will also manufacture equipment. India’s 4G stack has reached the international level as an equipment manufacturer.” Scindia said that the number of BSNL subscribers has reached approximately 9.27 crore. The company also plans to launch 5G network but before that 4G will have to be strengthened.

BSNL has started 4G network in many areas of the country. The design of the company’s 4G network is cloud-based, which can also be upgraded to 5G network. BSNL has also completed testing for 5G network. The company’s 5G service can be called Q-5G. In this Q means Quantum. Private telecom companies like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel already have 5G networks. Solar power is being used in the new telecom towers of BSNL. Recently, along with increasing the number of customers from the company, Scindia Mobile Was asked to increase the revenue from service by 50 percent. Recently the company launched its Voice-over-WiFi (VoWiFi) service. Using this service, subscribers will be able to make voice calls and also send messages over WiFi.
