Tech brand Itel has launched its new smartphone ‘Itel A100 Pro’ in the Indian market. This is an upgraded version of the A100 which was launched in February this year. The biggest feature of the phone is its strength and offer of free screen replacement. The company is giving 100 days free screen replacement warranty with this budget phone, which is usually seen only with expensive phones.
Itel A100 Pro has been introduced in a single variant. It has 64GB internal storage with 3GB RAM. The company has used ‘Memory Fusion’ technology in it, through which it can be expanded up to 8GB (3GB+5GB) with the help of virtual RAM. Its price has been kept at ₹ 8,999.

- Display and Front: A large 6.6-inch screen is provided in the front. There is a waterdrop notch on the top, in which the selfie camera is installed. The bezels are thin on the sides, but slightly wider at the bottom.

- Performance and Software: This phone works on Unisoc T7100 octa-core processor, whose maximum clock speed is 1.6GHz. The phone runs on the latest Android 15 Go Edition. Due to Google Go apps, it runs smoothly even on low RAM and saves battery.
- Camera: For photography, an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor and LED flash is provided on the back panel. There is a 5 megapixel camera on the front of the phone for selfies and video calling. Being a budget phone, it has basic photography and video recording facilities.
- PowerBackup: For long backup, it has a large battery of 5000mAh. To charge it, a 10W charger is available in the box. On normal use, this battery can comfortably last for one and a half to two days.
Special technology: Call will be made even without signal
Ultralink technology has been used in this phone. The company claims that with the help of this feature, calls can be made even in ‘no network’ areas without mobile signal. This technique is useful for those who live in basements or hilly areas.
What is ‘Military Grade’ certification?
MIL-STD-810H is a special American standard, which is designed to test the strength of something. A phone that has this certificate is put through many harsh conditions—such as being dropped from a height to the ground, being exposed to extreme heat and humidity. Itel claims that because of this certificate, this phone is the most durable and strong in its price category.
